Clare was killed in an act of domestic violence in 2015. It is excruciating to see other families and communities experience the same pain we have felt since losing Clare. No ore Foundation is working to end domestic violence by increasing awareness, inspiring action, and fueling culture change.

In 2015 Clare was killed by a ghost gun which is a homemade weapon commonly used by someone who would not pass a background check in a traditional gun sale. In 2021 significant change has been made to restrict ghost guns in California and nation-wide. This was made possible by voting for candidates who prioritize safety and organizations like Everytown fighting lawmakers to make change.
